This is an exciting opportunity for to work with an experienced team delivering high quality learning opportunities and care to a small group of adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
This will include:
• Working in a team contributing positively to the development of individualised learning programmes.
• Supporting learners to engage and interact with learning activities under the direction of the tutor.
• Providing personal care including feeding and mobility support to individuals.
• Promoting learner independence using a person centred approach.
• Following relevant LCC policies and procedures.
• Undertaking specific relevant training as required.
• Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to assist with manual handling.
• Interest and enthusiasm for working with individuals with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
• Commitment to working in a person centred way and promoting independence.
• Ability to understand and follow risk assessments.
• Willingness to be flexible.
• Commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.
