Telford & Wrekin Council are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Developer to work with our team members within the IDT Development Team. You will be supporting, developing and maintaining highly innovative solutions which utilise the latest Microsoft Technologies and programming languages and much much more.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a “can do” attitude, a confident communicator who can work as part of a team or as an individual.

You will have the opportunity to be mentored and trained by more senior members of the team to enhance and grow your skill set. In doing this you will also have the opportunity to build your career and progress further within the team.

We would would welcome applications from people who may already have or are willing to learn some of the skills below:

- JavaScript


- Databases/SQL Server

- Visual studio


- Content Management Systems

- Multi-tasking with a strong focus on delivery to challenging timescales

- Desire to progress and learn

- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service

- Analytical and problem-solving skills
