 People living in Sherwood Court will have all the benefits and privacy of having their own home but with the access to on site care and support based on their assessed need.

Support Assistants provide planned person-centred care which aims to encourage and motivate individuals to maintain confidence in independence and support the development of daily living skills of Service Users between 07.00am and 23.00pm.

The service is flexible and responsive to support the changing needs of individuals

Support Assistants undertake a range of duties including personal care, light housekeeping duties within properties to support individuals if identified on care plans.

We are recruiting (1 x 21 hours/ 1 x 25 hours) Support Assistants to work alongside our experienced care staff.  The position will help you gain invaluable skills to deliver person centred care at every opportunity.  The hours of work are on a rota basis, and the position does include weekends and bank holidays with enhanced rates of pay.

The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction programme, full training to deliver high standards of care, and we will fund the qualification for you on successful completion of the probation period.

With a starting salary of £19,650 (FTE), enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working, plus overtime opportunities and 25 days holiday why wouldn’t you want to choose a career in care?
