If so, we would love to hear from you! We are recruiting a full time HR Consultancy Adviser on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Within this advisory role, you will:

  • Be the link between the HR department and the wider business and demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Be an HR generalist with a good understanding of employment law
  • Be a resilient and motivated self-starter

You will need:

  • Good working knowledge of the HR function, including employee relations and a basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Confidence in the principles of equality and diversity for the purposes of working effectively.
  • Understanding of both Councils’ duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and adults and how they apply to this role.

Although the main location is the Town Hall in Wandsworth you would be required to travel to offices within the boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond. We also recognise the importance of a good balance between work and home life so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working such as homeworking.
