We have an exciting opportunity within the Lancashire AMHP Service.

The post on offer:

Role: Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)

Location: Working across the whole of Lancashire

Service: Lancashire AMHP Service

Contract Hours:

Daytime.

4-day working week and requirement to work one weekend per month

Daytime rota consists of 2 early shifts and 2 late/twilight shifts each week.

You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council. For Social Worker/Care Manager positions where non social worker qualifications are accepted, registration is not required, and you will be appointed as a Care Manager.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'. Further information can be found on the 'Our Recruitment Process' tab.

You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and you must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.

This post is a COVID-19 critical post. The successful applicant/s will be required to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and are strongly encouraged to take up the offer of the COVID-19 vaccination.

As per the Council's response to COVID-19, interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams video conferencing, support for which will be given.
