We are seeking a Business Administrator to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Team.

What will be expected from me?

You will provide an effective and high-quality business and administration support service to managers and staff, to support the operational delivery of services. Training will be provided.

What I might be doing?

  •  You will work within a team of professional Health, Safety, Environment and Compliance Advisors, providing key administrative support for the Safety Health Environment and Quality Team, also support in the administration of external contracts managed by the Corporate Landlord Team.
  • You will provide a range of administration tasks which may include bulk data input, typing, diary management, photocopying, producing correspondence.
  • You will arrange meetings and conferences including room bookings, agenda and documents preparation, attend meetings and produce minutes in a timely manner and circulate approved minutes.

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent in a subject relevant to the role/4 GCSE “C” or above grades including: Maths, English and 2 other related subjects/ICT Qualification such as EDCL, ICT GCSE or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of business administration systems and procedures.
  • Experience of IT systems relating to the role e.g. Microsoft Office/Experience in invoicing and payments for services.
  • Relevant experience of working within a similar function.
