As with many other Boroughs in the capital, tackling homelessness is a high priority. The Temporary Accommodation Procurement Officer will be required to source new business to increase the supply of properties based on the demand by building relationships with landlords, agents, and developers.

• Are you a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills?

• Have a good level of understanding of private housing market
• Experienced with property acquisition for the use of Temporary and settled accommodation
• Able to set and achieve personal targets that make an impact on team performance and efficiency
• Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• First rate problem solver and able to use own initiative
• Able to advise Landlords of their obligations in line with legislation
• Well organised with strong administrative skills
• Able to deliver excellent customer care

36 hours Monday- Friday – flexible working can be considered

• Must have access to a vehicle or be able to use public transport and carry out property inspections in line with current guidance and law
