An exciting opportunity has become available to work in the  within the Accommodation Team, at the Council’s Housing Needs Service. The Housing Needs Service is responsible for preventing homelessness in Wakefield and providing support and assistance to those who are already homeless.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, organised and open minded person to join the team as an Accommodation Assistant. The role involves supporting the Accommodation Team by manging our duty phone line and email inbox. The role is based at Queens House, Market Street and oversees the duty phone line, email box between the service core hours of 8.30am - 5pm.

The post of the Accommodation Assistant  is very varied and rewarding role which will give the post holder the opportunity to work closely with vulnerable people in the Wakefield district.
