A creative and skilled Property Asset Principal to work within the Property Review and Performance Team in Asset Management at Lancashire County Council.

Your abundance of experience and knowledge in the industry will permit you to breeze into this role effortlessly and allow you to make your mark straight away. You will be involved with the strategic review od our property portfolio which will include issues ranging from estates and financial areas to design, project and programme management. We want a professional who really knows the finer details of the strategic property requirements of Local Government and be able to hit the ground running. Your experience will also extend to working in a political environment, coupled with substantial understanding of how public services operate. Inspirational, Resilient and Strategic – you will need to adapt to various changes that arise and be resilient, putting your change management skills into full swing – managing your small team you will encourage them to follow your way of working with enthusiasm and attention to detail – we need you to have flawless communication skills being able to articulate yourself effectively with senior managers, in order to demonstrate your extensive knowledge and understanding of strategic premises issues – you will be able to be firm but fair in your decision making, showing your passion and drive for achieving the best possible results

Innovative – your innovative flair will ensure ultimate success for the council, putting your background and understanding of property portfolios to good use – you will be tackling various issues on a daily basis and will need to adapt in our changing environment, putting methods in place to resolve and develop our extensive range of areas – problem solving is a key element to accomplishing the desired results, so thinking critically and swiftly must be one of your strengths – your skills and substantial contribution to our organisation will enable us to continue on our journey for significant development and change – join us and make a remarkable difference to the public sector's property projects!
