Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Lifeways Group to recruit a Team Leader for their supported living services throughout Colchester.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

The Team Leader is responsible for leading a designated group of support workers to ensure that excellent services are delivered to each person supported by Lifeways. This role is a supervisory role and a Team Leader is expected both to formally and informally (through the use of mentorship, role modelling etc) supervise each Support Worker on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise the delivery of person-centred services to all people using the service
  • Support the Service Manager in the completion of accurate rota and timesheet information
  • Provide support and supervision to Support Workers, to ensure effective and efficient person-centred service delivery.
  • Maintain and share evidence-based records and reports
  • On-call Rota

About You

Lifeways require a dedicated individual to work in their colleagues in supporting adults (18 and over) with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have.

  • Experience of working with people with Learning Difficulties/ Mental Health/Autism/ Complex Needs
  • Supervisory experience
  • QCF Level 3 or working towards
