At Royal Greenwich we procure and manage private sector and council stock as temporary accommodation. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join our Access & Support Officers who provide a quality administration service to the team of temporary accommodation officers and the manager.

You will need to have experience in a variety of administration duties, be computer literate and willing to learn new I.T skills. A good working knowledge MS Excel is required.

The role is extremely varied; you will work with four other Access & Support Officers and will report to the Senior Access & Support Officer. You will need to be quick thinking, discreet and very flexible to meet our changing priorities and deadlines. You will also be required to carry out tenancy sign-ups for our clients daily. In order to meet service requirements this will require you to stay late on occasion when required with little or no notice.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and show an ability to build good relationships with other departments, landlords and external organisations.

You must be able to follow instructions and prioritise your work-load, as a team member you will be expected to share the responsibility for all work in addition to managing your own rota.

Duties will include general administration, creating and terminating tenancies, a high volume of phone calls, providing reports and maintaining records.

This is an extremely busy department so be prepared to be busy and work under pressure.
