We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced minute taker to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our administration team supporting the Child Protection Unit.  You will work closely with the Independent Reviewing Officers who chair the conferences, and other members of the team.  Full support and training will be provided for the successful candidate.  

The Child Protection Unit work within the Bolton Family Framework to support children and families in Bolton achieve better outcomes, and our partners and professionals are paramount to this success.

The supporting administration role within the team covers a variety of main duties – the key ones are set out below

 · Assist with arranging and organising the Initial and Review conferences

 · Set up virtual and face to face meetings and collate reports for conferences

 · Take comprehensive minutes of the meetings, so accurate and efficient minute taking experience is essential.

About You:

You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes.   

You will demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.

You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work.

You must possess excellent literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and be proficient in the use of packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
