You will provide specialist strategic regeneration input to enable the development and delivery of regeneration and city development initiatives that contribute to the delivery of Belfast’s strategic objectives.

You will also provide a strategic approach to the use and regeneration of the council’s land and property estate and undertake strategic site assessments for council assets and, in partnership with other stakeholders, to lead on the delivery of public /private regeneration projects that involve also other public and private lands. 

You will work alongside other public sector bodies to bring forward city wide development opportunities that maximise the use of public sector assets together with relevant private sector interests and deliver on corporate objectives that delivers placemaking regeneration.  

You will also identify opportunities for and lead on developing specific regeneration plans and proposals, land assembly and development projects that will deliver on strategic regeneration opportunities and build relationships and partnerships that enable development and regeneration to come forward.
