Are you looking for an opportunity to work within a professional and supportive respite service for children and young people with disabilities in Stoke-on-Trent?  Are you committed to helping children enjoy a respite care experience with lots of fun activities and positive interactions by contributing to a safe, stimulating and creative environment?

Children who access our service have a range of learning disabilities and complex needs. You would be part of a highly motivated and highly skilled group of care staff who are committed to effective team working in order to achieve excellent outcomes for children. There is a degree of support with personal care involved in the role.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment.  This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
