Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Class (UK) Ltd to recruit Support Workers for their supported living service in Chelmsford.

The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, night and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage. Sleep ins shifts are paid at £70.

Class (UK) Ltd are a small, supported living service based in Chelmsford supporting young adults with learning disabilities and autism so that they can live as independently as possible. They pride themselves in promoting choice, independence, and inclusion to allow their service users to live an independent life.

Class (UK) Ltd are looking for confident and motivated Support Workers to help support their service users. This rewarding helps to build increasing independence and enables our service users to reach their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support at home - helping with cooking, laundry, budgeting
  • Providing support in the workplace - completing tasks given, staying on task
  • Providing support in the community - walking, bowling, cinema, swimming, youth clubs
