Milbanke home for older people are recruiting for Care Assistants to join the friendly team, where everyone feels valued for the work they do! We currently have permanent and casual positions available.

We are really proud to be one of Lancashire County Council's 16 residential care homes spread right across Lancashire, who provide care and support to more than 700 wonderful residents. We're looking for naturally compassionate people who can help us deliver exceptional care and achieve our vision 'To be the best quality service, safely supporting older people with kindness, dignity, care and compassion to live their life their way'.

About Our Home:

Milbanke is a purpose-built two storey home for older people situated in Kirkham, and offers quality, safe, comfortable care and support for up to 46 people across three homely separate areas.

We offer friendly, compassionate, person centred support to people living with dementia who choose Milbanke as their home. We also welcome older people for residential care and short term respite stays.

We are a great team but don't just take our word for it!

People who live at Milbanke have said: “It's very cosy and friendly, I am well looked after”, “I like the staff, people, like the place, it’s very clean”, “It's a beautiful place, happy, a joy to be here”, “I’m happy, I like my friends here and the staff always have time to chat with me”, “I’m well looked after here, the staff help me with everyday tasks, I enjoy the meals. I’m always clean and presentable…”

If you have ambition to learn, career development is possible and we will always be there to support you no matter what.
