About the Role

Working within our friendly, supportive and lively organisation, as part of our Strategic Leadership Team, you will not only work with elected members, staff and partners to lead those services and partnerships for which you are responsible, but will also be responsible for working in partnership with service areas across the organisation, and with external organisations, to lead the transformation of our services, introduce user centred and agile transformation practices and deliver sustained change and transformation.

About You

To succeed in this role you will need experience of successfully leading teams and partnerships in a highly customer-facing and political environment. While experience of delivering corporate wide projects which have transformed organisations is really important, your personal qualities will be just as vital in achieving success.  You will need to be a credible and authoritative leader with exceptional communication skills; able to motivate, enthuse and positively engage with others while at the same time being resilient enough to make, and drive through, difficult decisions, sometimes in the face of resistance.
