It is an exciting time to join Wakefield Council. We’re transforming how we deliver self-service technology and looking for an exceptional person to join the Business Systems team to drive our commitment to provide quality digital HR/Payroll/Finance services to our colleagues and partner organisations.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual with the skills and experience of implementing and upgrading HR/Payroll/Finance systems. Duties will include, full process design, build, data cleansing/migration, production of documentation, writing/testing UAT scripts and delivery of training to users.
You will be working within a small development team, accountable for supporting three high profile corporate IT system applications, iTrent, Unit 4 (Agresso) Business World and Capita Income Management. You will take an active role within project teams to engage with key stakeholders and liaise with stakeholders to design, build, test and implement systems and processes.

Requirements:
- Education to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification plus relevant experience.
- Knowledge of employment and finance legislation
- Excellent ICT skills
- Experience in delivering technology projects.
- Strong communicator
- Excellent organisation skills
