We are seeking an HR Officer to support our award-winning HR & Organisational Development Team.

 

What will be expected from me?

 

The purpose of this role is to support HR & Organisational Development Team by providing administrative assistance and contribute to the delivery of the Council’s People Strategy.

 

What I might be doing?

 

  • You will manage the Apprenticeship Contract Management Group Mailbox, answering queries and escalating as necessary. (After training)
  • You will update the apprenticeship tracker, marking completions and dates, adding learning requests, breaks in learning, and returns to learning.
  • You will be liaising with providers, setting up briefing sessions and keeping colleagues up to date.
  • You will support the workload and performance of the team to deliver integrated, high-quality services that meet service objectives and priorities and targets.

 

Essential requirements:

 

  • Min of 2 x A-C GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Knowledge of application of Apprenticeship Levy Funding Rules would be an advantage but is not essential as full training is provided.
