We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to the position of Graffiti Liaison Officer – Environmental Enforcement within Regulated Services and Community Safety.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled officer to join our Environmental Enforcement Team.
With an emphasis on protecting people who live and work in the borough, as well as people visiting Sandwell. You will form a key part of our Environmental Enforcement Team, taking appropriate action to advise private property/ landowners on the safe removal of graffiti that may be on their land as well as providing advice and guidance on the prevention of graffiti
You will be expected to describe the role within a few bullet points
- Drive the Borough identifying graffiti on buildings and land that are privately owned
- Identify land / property ownership
- Liaise with the land owner to identify methods of graffiti removal and preventative methods
- Keep detailed records of identified locations and actions taken
You will be expected to select up to five essential requirements for the role, insert these below
- Full clean driving license
- Educated NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent,
- Ability to communicate at all levels through an approachable manner.
- Ability to manage own time effectively
- Knowledge of and ability to utilise Microsoft office based packages (e.g. power point, excel, word) and other relevant software

Hours
18.5 hours per week
Band D, SCP 9 -17 (£21,269- £24,920 per annum) Pro Rata (£11.02 - £12.92 per hour)
