Grade: D, scp 6 £20,043 to scp 11 £22,129

Contract: Permanent

The Role

We are looking for experienced administrators to work in the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) which is based in Howell Croft, Le Mans Crescent, Bolton.

The Lead Administrator role will be responsible for providing a range of business services to the RAA which will include:

  • Servicing weekly held adoption panels (shared between a team of 4).
  •  Booking venues and refreshments
  • Chasing and uploading documents
  • Emailing confidential information
  • Organising invitations
  • Taking panel minutes direct to laptop (or shorthand) and transcribing
  • Updating information on Excel Spreadsheets to maintain statistical information
  • General admin duties – answering the phone/photocopying 

The successful candidate will be required to attend and minute meetings outside of Bolton for which you will be able to claim travel expenses.

About You

You will have experience of working in a busy office environment or have relevant background experience.

You must be proficient in Microsoft Word and have accurate typing and minute taking skills.

The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and have experience of dealing with both internal and external customers are essential to the post.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to use your own initiative in an often sensitive and confidential environment.

 

Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.
