Job Purpose

  • With the Operations Manager, plan and staff the activity programmes.
  • Write and create bespoke programmes for visiting groups.
  • Programme casual staff where and when necessary.
  • Deal with HR issues e.g. recruitment, payroll, logging of hours.
  • To assist with marketing of Beaumanor Activities.
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager in their absence.



ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience of work in a Customer Services Environment.

  • Maintaining relevant data bases and use of spreadsheets.

  • Experience of working with customers and resolving issues.


About the role:

  • The nature of the work will involve the jobholder carrying out work outside of normal working hours, include all Public/Bank Holidays.

 ..

  • The post-holder may be required to attend, from time to time, training courses, conferences, seminars or other meetings as required by his/her own training needs and the needs of the service.

 

  • This post is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity (includes a barred list check) is an essential requirement..

 

  • Subject to review, the post holder will be required to provide a car and to possess a valid driving licence.
  • This post requires flexibility in terms of hours/days of work, to satisfy customer demand effectively. 

The role is based on a working pattern of any 5 over 7 days, around the business needs.
