We are looking to build a waiting list for those who want to become School Crossing Patrol Officers as well as recruit a Relief School Crossing Patrol Officer.

The Relief School Crossing Patrol Officer will be able to travel at short notice to cover absences of other patrollers at any site in Middlesbrough.

Total of 10 hours per week, term time only.

The post involves assisting children and adults across the road on their way to and from school each morning and afternoon during school term times.

An awareness of the Highway Code, together with experience of working with children and young people, would be advantageous although not essential, as full training will be given.

Full uniform, including waterproof clothing, will be provided.
