We have three posts available; our commissioning team is structured based on the life course model of Start, Live and Ageing Well:
Start Well –Services and early intervention offer for Children and Young People (Residential, Supported Accommodation and Fostering, Special Educational Needs, and Transition)
Live Well – Services and early intervention offer for Adults with Disabilities aged 18 to 64 (Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism), and Public Health
Ageing Well – Services and early intervention offer for Older People aged 65+ (Dementia, Physical disabilities)
The posts remit will include ensuring services deliver the best outcomes for children and adults. You would assist in the planning, development, co-ordination, and delivery of an ongoing programme of commissioning projects, providing effective challenge, support, and project management on a range of existing programmes of work to improve the lives of the people of Bolton.
The 3 vacant Commissioning Officer posts are in the following sections:
1 X @ 37 hours per week (Start Well)
2 X @ 37 hours per week (Live Well Adult Social Care)

You will be a team player who is able to work effectively with others to improve and change services across Children’s and Adults Services. You will have experience of overcoming barriers to deliver successful outcomes. You must be capable of working on your own initiative to help drive and enable improved outcomes for the people of Bolton.
