The overall management of a school catering operation, monitoring and controlling the catering service to ensure that quality and consistency of service are maintained at all times.

This role is term-time only and we have vacancies in 3 primary schools located across the borough.

Our Lady of Lourdes Beech Ave,Bolton,BL4 0BP - 27.5 hours

Markland Hill Markland Hill,Bolton,BL1 5EJ - 30 hours

Greenfold Highfield Rd ,Bolton,BL4 0RA – 27.5 hours

Job Description

About You

Good practical skills are essential for this hands on role.  You will need to be a great cook, determined, energetic with great organisational skills, used to cooking for large numbers, and ideally have a school catering background with an understanding of portion control, budgets and ordering. The role involves working in various school kitchens so enjoying meeting new people and great personal skills are needed for this role .
