We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed administrator to join our Refugee Integration here in the Wakefield Cohesion Team

The successful person will be expected to provide an efficient and professional administration service to our beneficiaries, staff and Home Office. They will work alongside our Refugee Integration manager and Case Manager to provide first class administration and data input as well as being the first point of contact for vulnerable people.

We are looking for a reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

  • has an interest in migration, particularly asylum seekers and refugees
  • has a friendly and positive manner and can communicate effectively with our staff and beneficiaries.
  • can work effectively and efficiently as part of our team but can also work independently using their own initiative to get the job done in a timely manner.
  • has excellent written and IT skills (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
  • has experience of working in a similar administrative role or is willing to learn on the job to use our financial systems (Agresso) - however full training and support will be provided to the right person.
  • Has a good understanding of GDPR- however, full training will be given
  • Willing to work within the community
