We put our customers at the heart of everything we do and are looking for a new team member to join us in Learner Services.  The successful candidate will provide effective and high-quality support to a range of colleagues, partners and members of the public.

You should be able to deal independently with routine enquiries and requests for information from a range of stakeholders either verbally or in writing, whilst working within the Council’s Customer Care Policy.   You will need to have a flexible, can-do approach to ensure frontline processes put learners first.  Therefore good communication skills are essential.

You should have experience of:

  • Communicating effectively and confidently within a customer service role.
  • Providing advice, guidance and support to individual needs
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Managing administrative tasks to support the running of the service
  • Understand the principles of data protection, confidentiality and information security.
