Are you an experienced and hard-working Social Worker looking to develop your career?

Who we are looking for

Someone who enjoys a varied post; as duties include the recruitment, training and assessment of applicant foster carers, including some evening and weekend working. Social Workers have a case load of carers whom they visit regularly and support through supervision review and panel meetings. They also assist in the investigation of allegations and support carers through these processes. In addition social workers will be on a rota to assist the matching children with internal carers, this can mean working under pressure. Social workers also facilitate support groups and further training for carers to enable them to parent therapeutically and could be asked to take the lead on a project. This post is based at Cumbria House but will include travel throughout the Eden Valley and beyond.
