The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

  • To support the overall management of a service area, including practice, standards, quality, and performance.
  • Support the day-to-day budget holder for an allocated and devolved budget ensuring services are delivered within budget.
  • Undertake specific duties and responsibilities determined by Extra Care manager, to enable the team to achieve its goals and objectives.
  • Work with the Extra Care manager to ensure day to day functioning of the team in operational matters.
  • Proactively promote partnership working and integration within and outside of the Council this includes our Housing and Health Colleagues.
  • Have supervisory responsibility.

Role Requirements

  • You will need to Hold NVQ Level 4 qualification in Care or Care Management or equivalent. 
  • Have a good understanding of CQC Standards and Framework.  
  • The ability to be flexible.  

An Enhanced Adults Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check will be required for this role.
