We are looking for a Caretaker at our East Barnby Outdoor Centre
East Barnby Outdoor Centre
Ease Barnby Outdoor Centre offers outdoor education adventure for students from primary school to post 16, and beyond. Located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and a stones throw to Yorkshire’s Heritage Coast, East Barnby is ideally situated to provide a wide range of land, fresh water and coastal programmes in stunning natural surroundings.
The Role
As our Caretaker you will provide high quality caretaking services to ensure a secure, safe, and hygienic environment for all building users.
You will also:.
· Carry out maintenance on the buildings where appropriate, by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor repairs, and replacing consumables.
· Assist with portering duties whilst on site
· Assist with cleaning duties
· Respond to alarms being raised and taking appropriate action depending on situation
· Liaise with the location manager as necessary about premise issues.
· Liaise with contractors on site as necessary.
What you will bring
You will have knowledge and experience of carrying out minor repairs and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be Customer focused and self-motivated and have good organisational skills.
