Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB) is the Council’s Employment and Job Brokerage Service helping residents get into work, through job outcome focused support, tailored to the individuals’ needs. We are currently recruiting an Office and Services Administrator; you will play a critical role by providing comprehensive financial and administrative support. This finance-heavy role requires precision, efficiency, and excellent customer service skills.

Your key responsibilities will include financial management of our customer spend, maintaining accurate financial records using Excel, and issuing petty cash, vouchers and pre-paid travelcards to customers in line with council procedures.

You will manage GLLaB’s invoices, checking cost codes, preparation for authorisation, and raising creditor invoices. Additionally, you will process financial payments, including BACS transfers, and resolve queries related to invoice errors, goods/services supply, and expenditure evidence with suppliers and council finance teams.

You will oversee stationary supplies and manage facilities issues across GLLaB sites ensuring routine safety checks are coordinated and compliance with health and safety regulations is maintained.

About You:

  • You have a strong background in financial administration and a keen eye for detail.
  • You are highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • You excel in customer service and are comfortable dealing with enquiries face-to-face, over the phone, and electronically.
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office package and maintaining accurate records.
