Are you a motivated, experienced health and social care professional looking for a new opportunity? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our team as Registered Manager within a residential setting, providing exceptional care services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new Service within Westmorland and Furness Council Care Services, working with our fantastic support team to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
About the role
As our Registered Manager you will oversee the day to day running of the Service, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including CQC and health and safety. You will manage, motivate, and support our staff teams, supporting their training and development, providing a culture of support and wellbeing, while leading by example. You will also take a proactive approach to managing and implementing continuous Service improvement and future planning programmes of work.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, as a Care Manager, Service Manager, Residential Care Manager, Social Care Manager or equivalent and hold all relevant qualifications in health and social care. You will also require a Level 5 in Leadership and Management or the Registered Managers Award or be willing to work towards this.
You will need exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative, working closely with the Care Services Leadership Team.
