About the role

Your duties will include:

  • To arrange and undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments of individuals with complex disability needs
  • To complete intervention plans and make recommendations using a client centred approach and making best use of resources in order to maximise service user’s functional independence in activities of daily living within their homes
  • To undertake complex Moving and Handling Risk Assessments
  • To recommend and provide specialist equipment, minor and major adaptations, liaising with appropriate professionals when necessary
  • To respond appropriately to urgent referrals and prioritise workload in response to levels of risk and duty of care within agreed workload throughput targets
