We have a part time opportunity available as a Travel Planning Assistant to join our Integrated Passenger Transport Team.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will support the development, implementation and monitoring of travel plans to support and encourage more sustainable travel with the aim to reduce the use of the private car for commuting and business.
You will assess Travel Plans against set criteria to enable feedback to be provided to Planning Officers. You will also analyse survey data to understand travel patterns.
You will be expected to co-ordinate the delivery of a programme of sustainable travel promotion initiatives, events and campaigns within the workplace.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject together with having experience of delivering a campaign to change behaviour to a target audience.
You will have an awareness of current transportation issues and relevant government guidance and legislation.
