Job Details
The Corporate Debt Team has vacancies for Finance Officers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a knowledgeable team responsible for the issue and recovery of the Council’s sundry debts.
There are 2 permanent positions and 1 fixed term contract for 12 months.
The successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks in connection with the raising and recovery of debt in accordance with financial procedures. We would be interested to hear from candidates who:
- have experience of working in a financial environment
- have experience of debt recovery
- have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- have a desire to provide excellent customer service and assist those in financial difficulties
- understanding of system control processes
- possess strong IT skills
- can work independently, accurately and meet deadlines
