Park Operations Assistant - Thorndon Country Park
Permanent, Part Time
£23,344 per annum (full time equivalent)
Location: Brentwood
Working Style: Fixed-base worker
This is a permanent, part time position on an annualised hours contract. This means you will be contracted to work a minimum of 964.59 hours per year. The pro rata salary will be £11,672 per annum. Please note, shifts involve working a 37 across a two-week rota include working Saturday and Sunday plus 3 to 4 evenings per week for 2 hours cleaning and lock-up (evening shift times vary as the park closing times change throughout the year). The pro rata salary for this role will be £11,672 per annum.
The Opportunity
Based at Thorndon Country Park, the Park Operations Assistant will ensure the park is secure and open at critical times during the day for visitors. This includes access to all the facilities which are expected to be safe and well-presented environments for the visiting public. You will be expected to carry out a variety of duties and tasks in order to maintain the grounds & infrastructure and there will be the opportunity to expand the core role as required to meet the needs of the park. Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
