Who we are looking for

Westmorland and Furness Council are seeking a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our ICT service team and contribute to the effective delivery of IT services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring that technology services are delivered efficiently and align with our organisational goals.

Your key responsibilities will include administrative, asset and configuration management support, manage ICT procurement requests, and to act as a point of reference to ICT service staff for procurement queries and issues, and to manage goods receipting and disposal. You will play a crucial role in maintaining service quality, conducting regular reviews, and implementing best practices in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) methodologies.
