Due to an increase in demand.  The Council’s Aids & Adaptations Team seek an additional Technical Officer to work in a small team of Technical Officers.   

Delivering Aids and Adaptations to Council and Private Households, the ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, with an empathetic and sensitive approach to working with customers with complex needs.   

A good team player with the ability to work on your own.  You need to be enthusiastic, have an ability to think out of the box and excellent problem-solving skills, but most importantly demonstrate the passion to deliver a good quality service. 

You should have some experience of carrying out inspections and design work relating to construction and dealing with customers.   

This is a career graded post with additional numeration offered on successful completion of a Trusted Assessor Qualification.
