Adult Care and Wellbeing are looking to recruit a highly motivated Senior Business Support Officer to support the Social Care Accounts Service and Contracts and Commissioning Service. This is a full time permanent position. 

Are you interested in delivering excellent business support to a busy service? Have you got the skills we need, a positive attitude and willingness to learn? Do you have a high level of ICT skills, an excellent customer focus and a willingness to constantly review and improve our ways of working? Are you able to operate with a high level of numerical and written accuracy? If so we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and a team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and follow standard operating processes.

You will be required to demonstrate experience of working with internal and external customers to a high level of satisfaction. You will need accuracy and attention to detail to complete financial tasks and input sensitive information. You will need to be competent in the use of ICT packages (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc).

You will be able to work from home but will be expected to spend some time in the office. This is kept under review in line with service demands. You will be based at a city centre location.  You will be required to cover for colleagues and work flexibly to meet the demands of the service. Full time employees work 37 hours 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
