The Governing Body wishes to appoint a Caretaker to join our friendly, hardworking and successful school.
The successful candidate will be reliable, well-organised, have good communication skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the building and site are secure, safe and meet our high standards of cleanliness.
Main duties:
• Ensure the building and site are secure
• Act as a designated key holder
• Thorough cleaning of areas within the school
• Be responsible for tidiness and safety of the outdoor areas
• Undertake minor repairs
• Manage hygiene and cleaning stock in all areas of the school
• Arrange and carry out regular maintenance and safety checks, such as health and safety/ fire safety checks
• Report defects and faults
• Porterage duties
• Winter gritting and path clearing
