This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the Council's ambitions for our future transport network, implement high-profile schemes and maintain a strong grip on the delivery of key projects.

To be successful in this post you will be as comfortable with strategy as you are with leading large operations. You will need to bring energy, tenacity and strong communication skills. You will thrive on data and evaluation to evidence and inform delivery and service improvements.

Above all, you'll be committed to delivering an efficient, well-connected network that our residents love - with a carbon footprint that we can be proud of, as well as delivering the councils Transport Strategy.

About the Role

Your work will directly impact and optimise the function of the team, helping to ensure that Greenwich parking operates efficiently whilst enhancing our financial position. You will liaise with elected members, members of the public, key stakeholders, businesses, internal colleagues, and outsourced service providers regularly and will need to portray professional competence and a listening attitude.

About You

We're looking for two highly motivated individuals, with a good knowledge of Transport, parking design schemes and project support. You will be a team player with energy and a strong commitment to probity, honesty, and openness, treating people consistently, fairly and with respect.

Able to understand complex issues relating to local government governance and processes, you'll be a strategic thinker with the ability to create, lead and help to deliver innovative solutions. You will have strong computing skills, with the ability to use a wide range of MS programmes, collate and present data, along with investigation of complaints and enquiries.
